A bit about me

 HELLO EVERYONE! Welcome to my blog! My name is Irem, I'm from Turkey I study in Belarus and learning foreing languages is my biggest hobby. I think learning a language is not only learning the grammer and phonetic of that language, but also learning the culture, logic, mentality, tranditions even history and geography of that nation and it is amazing. So there is a very popular proverb in Turkey, we say that: “One language, one person; two languages, two persons.” That means: if you know one language you are a person; but if you know two languages, you are two persons. When you learn more than one language, you also learn another culture. And that makes you another person. So in this blog we will try learn and have fun at the same time.   Web 1.0  Web 1.0 refers to the first stage of the World Wide Web evolution. Earlier, there were only few content creators in Web 1.0 with the huge majority of users who are consumers of content.  Personal web pages were common and  advertisements on websites while surfing the internet is banned. a Web 1.0 site includes : Static pages. Content is served from the server’s file-system. Pages built using Server Side Includes or Common Gateway Interface (CGI). Frames and Tables used to position and align the elements on a page.   HELLO EVERYONE! Today I'm going to mention some google services. On this video that I've watched I find google documents useful not only to learn/teach english but also to use it in our daily lives. Here there are some other google services that I really like which might help you as well on your english learning journey.😊 Google Translate Learn the   translation  of words in over 100 different languages with Google Translate.  You can type text to translate words from your native language into other languages. Be careful though, the translations do not always include  cultural context. A lot of courses that you can take from world-famous universities. To be honest I didn't know that there is such possibility. I registered and even took a spanish course 😍 Do you know that with the help of edX.org you can take courses from Harvard University or Massachusetts Institute of Technology?  Browse  free  online  courses  in a variety of subjects. ...  edX courses  found below can be audited  free  or students can choose to receive a verified certificate for a small fee. If I need to choose another one to take courses that would be coursera.org. There are a lot of courses even about marine biology or paleontology.
